4 People Died due to the Accident
This Sunday morning (4/2/2018), cranes at the site of the double track project in Jatinegara, East Jakarta collapsed to cause 4 people died.
"Five victims, two died at the scene, and three were taken to the hospital, two of them died at the hospitals, namely in the Premier Hospital and Hermina, and one of the minor injuries has returned," said Jatinegara sub-district head Abu Bakar to journalists at Jalan Matraman Raya, RW 06, Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Sunday (4/2/2018), as cited from Detik.
It is still unclear what caused the crane to collapse even police officers weren't informed about it once the accident happened.
However, Abu suspected the accident caused by the slippery conditions at the project site during the rain. Then, the fallen crane is also suspected directly hit the workers underneath.
